Listen, I hate my hair — well I hate my hair in New England anyway. It's curly and the humidity here kills it BUT the stylists at Judy Jetsons are somehow able to tame my unruly curls into some semblance of do that doesn't make me look like I just came out of a wind tunnel!

They actually have stylists who specialize in different types of hair and are really good at doing the "boy" cut on girls. Plus the place is just cool — the decor is young and hip and makes you feel like you're in LA, sort of : )

The prices are way cheaper then anywhere on Newbury and the cuts are just as good. I reccomend to anyone but especially to lesbians seeking the "non-femme" cut! Nicole P at Yelp

People sure are funny. The reasons for why someone might choose to go to Judy Jetson's: location, the funky look of the place, or a referral from a friend. I suspect satisfaction will follow depending on what brought that person in.

Referrals are almost always ultra-satisfied. I count myself in that category. A friend told me about Judy a kajillion years ago, and they've always done a spectacular job for me. Judy helps me be me because she really listens and cares, and is as creative as I am.

I've watched other folks come in… I see the wanna-be's with a chip on their shoulder, people who have something that just wanna get off their chest, and take it out on someone. I've watched clients treat the stylists here worse than… crap. Judy encourages her stylists to stand up for themselves. If you give crap, you're gonna get crap. If you're abusive, you're gonna pay more. It's about humanity. So, if you think your haircut was expensive, it probably was. LOL

Those who come in because they live nearby, are almost always satisfied. I've watched locals coming to the same stylist for twenty years, and then bring their family and kids. It's adorable.

Once you're part of the Judy Jetson family, you're always in their hearts. Jen S at Yelp
